I was a first time buyer quite nervous about getting into the market, especially being self-employed and unsure of the mortgage options available to someone in my unique situation.
Birgit always took the time to respond to my questions, even met me personally several times and put my mind at ease, presenting me various options that were realistically available to me. Birgit always took the time to explain everything to me and respond promptly to my many questions, for example regarding unique financing situations and various rate or monthly quotes depending on the particular property I was looking into at the time.
She also explained in plain language many of the things that I needed to know re down payment, closing costs, importance of terms of the mortgage (ability to refinance after 1 year). She was also a great resource to my real estate agent and connected me with other professionals necessary to help close my first property.
I couldn’t recommend her highly enough and also found her personal approach very refreshing and comfortable to be around.
