About Birgit

Birgit Vaskina joined Meridian Pacific in November, 2006 and now has 6 years experience as a mortgage broker. She was voted 2nd Best Mortgage Broker in Vancouver by the readers of the Georgia Straight Newspaper in 2009. She specializes in residential, private and commercial mortgages and she is also able to assist international investors in obtaining financing in Canada. Birgit is a member of the Big Tsunami Business Networking International team. The group has a strong network of business professionals (realtor, insurance agents, home decorators etc.) who can help ensure that your home buying process goes smoothly every step of the way.

 After living overseas for several years, she has a great appreciation and love for her home city of Vancouver. Her ability to speak in several languages, as well as her previous profession as a math instructor, lend well to her mortgage brokering skills. She loves problem solving and communicating with her clients, keeping them informed every step of the way.
